The 91,850 SF Gardner Center features materials and design that are environmentally friendly. It is one of the first LEED-certified athletic buildings in the United States.

A 2,000-square-foot lobby area is focused on interactive exhibits and historic displays and the Thomas Glasser ’82 Hall of Achievement showcases great moments and honors from Haverford athletics history. The Gymnasium is designed to accommodate 1,200 spectators, the arena comprises three wood floor courts, including the Calvin J. Gooding ’84 Memorial Performance Court. The Fitness Center consists of 7,200 square feet of space for varsity teams and the College community alike, with free weights, exercise bicycles, and cardiovascular and strength training machines. A 1,500-sf square feet Sports Medicine Suite/Training Room has treatment space including six treatment tables, four taping tables, a hydrotherapy room with three whirlpool machines, administrative offices, and storage space. The facility includes squash and fencing facilities, multi-purpose space, conference space and offices for the coaching staff.
