Steinhardt Hall – Hillel at Penn

Construction of a three-story, 36,000 square foot facility on the University of Pennsylvania campus to serve more than 25 Jewish organizations affiliated with the University. The complex contains administrative offices, a kosher kitchen with 386 seat dining room, a 320 seat sanctuary / auditorium, and a 174 seat Beit Midrash for classical Jewish studies. The building also features a dramatic rotunda lobby, data-enabled meeting and seminar rooms, a Judaic library, a student activities center, a coffee bar and lounge. The facility is constructed of structural steel and concrete with an exterior of brick and stone. Specialized glazing includes a two-story art glass enclosure.
