Montgomery Square Shopping Center

New 258,000 square foot power center comprised of three 1-story, steel-framed, masonry buildings. Fit-out was provided for a 70,000 square foot grocery store and five specialty tenants. In addition, a 120,000 square foot pad was laid for an additional major retailer to be added later.

Site development on the 54-acre site was completed in just 9 months. The scope of work included installing an 18- to 20-inch sanitary sewer line and extending it a mile from the site to the township’s wastewater treatment plant. A boring was cut through solid rock, approximately 20 feet below grade of a major business route, to accommodate the sewer line.

Originally scheduled to take place over an 18-month period, construction was completed ahead of schedule, including substantial added tenant fit-out work.
